WOMEN’S INSTITUTE. . ! A general meeting of the Orari i Women's Institute was held in the | Sunday Schoolroom on Thursday afternoon last. The president (Mrs G. A. M. Macdonald) was in the chair. The main feature of the afternoon was an interesting address on “Certain Recent Developments in Child Hygiene,” by Dr. Eleanor Baker McLaglen, who outlined the latest methods for dealing with delicate children. She illustrated her lecture wilh some appropriate pictures. An interesting surprise packet competition was won by Mrs J. Brown. Three new members were enrolled for the Institute, making a total membership of thirty-nine. Afternoon tea was served, the hostesses being Mcsdames G. H. Blissett, J. Minnis, L. Henderson, and Miss G. Brown. A vote -of thanks was accorded Dr. Baker McLaglen for her address,
