- On Sunday afternoon last, at the conclusion of the Junior Girls' Bible Class of the Presbyterian Church, Geraldine, the members entertained their leader, Miss Black, to afternoon tea, after which Miss Jessie Cowie, as secretary, spoke on behalf of the members in high terms of praise of Miss Black’s good work and then called on Miss Betty Bennett to present Miss Black with a case of tablewarl. Miss Black, who was taken by surprise, replied feelingly tp all the girls had said about her.
