GERALDINE PICTURES.
Though '‘.Clothes Make the Pirate” is a comedy with a capital “C,” some of the. scenes in midocean where pirate ships of old are seen in conflict, provide rear thrills seldom associated with comedy subjects. iStrikingly real are the scenes aboard; ship where Leon Errol is asked to lead his men against the enemy. :So real, in fact, are these episodes, that one momentarily forgets that the picture is a comedy. Only for an instant, though, is the spectator so misled, for timely bursts of humour are artistically, interwoven; touches that literally bring gales of laughter. “Clothes Make the Pirate” will be screened at the' Geraldine Municipal Theatre to-night. There will be a full supporting programme, including an English Gazette and, i a cartoon scenic. ' ■ .
