AMUSEMENTS.

TEMKA PICTURES. When Clarence Mnlford wrote "The Orphan,” he furnished Tom Mix with the greatest motion picture story of his career. It comes to Temuka to-night under the title of "The Deadwood Coach.” The story concerns "The Orphan,” a reckless outlaw who is feared throughout, the West but who, in reality, is the enemy of only one man. As a boy, the outlaw witnessed the murder of his father hy an outlaw named Tex Wilson, and the boy. dedicated his life to vengeance. ‘ The way he fulfils this vengeance and wins the respect of the community, as well as the hand of a girl, makes this a thrilling and picturesque western drama. Some splendid supporting pictures will also be screened.
