In the report of the Geraldine District High School concert on Thursday, it was stated that the marches and counter-marches by the High School girls trained by Miss Farnie, were executed with fine precision, and that Mr McKay had his fiqtfad of High School boys in perfect training. It has been pointed out since the report appeared that Miss Farnie was responsible for the High School girls’ dances), and that Miss de Lambent trained the girls for their drills and marches. Mr McKay was responsible for the humorous sketches which proved so popular, and to Mr Drew was due the credit of training the hoys in the physical drill, which they performed so well. In the afternoon, between 2 and 3 o’clock, Mr Williams will lake films of scenes in King street, Temuka, and it is hoped that car owners and the general public will be on the street at that hour in force, so as to give the scenes as lively an aspect as possible, for it is not every day such an opportunity occurs to advertise our town and bring it under the notice of the vast concourse of people that will visit the Exhibition.
