SYDNEY, CASH AGAINST DOCUMENTS. POST FREE. rpHE CARINGBBRRY was first propagated in Australia some five years ago by us at Caringbah, and is a cross between the MULBERRY and RASPBERRY, on the parent plant of the Australian Blackberry, and has the combined flavours of the Raspberry and Mulberry. THE CABINGBEBRY is used very extensively in all the large cities of Australia and New Zealand for fruit salads, and is very largely ousting the favourite Strawberry—not Laving so much waste, and commands a higher price for the fruit. Many growers of the Strawberries in Australia and New Zealand are discarding them, as it is so much easier to grow CARINGBERRIES, and it is not affected by pests or birds like Strawberries or other fruits. Being DISEASE PROOF, it does snot require replanting, and will grow for at least 20 years. Last season we sold £428 worth of CARINGBERRIES from one acre of three-year-old plants, using old manure and Fertilisers as top dressing, which we find gives best results. A customer purchased a dozen plants twelve months ago, and at first picking picked 187 quar punnets of CARINGBERRIES from his twelve plants, and will still be able to pick berries till end of season. ■ EVERY HOME SHOULD HAVE A DOZEN! 1200 Plants (for 1 acre) £55 500 Plants 1000 Plants £45 100 Plants Year Plants; 12 for 21/-. £25 £6 BENTON’^ 0 Please Address Letters, Box 2489, G.P.0., SYDNEY - Orders for any of above plants or. trees may be booked now for next season’s planting; prices will not be raised if orders are booked before end of year. anos PLEASE MENTION THIS PAPER WHEN ORDERING. eh £ m 1 1 3 I Wi 1 1 Small leakages in your iveekly expenditure soon eat a hole in your housekeeping funds.
