NO .MATCH AT TEMUKA TO-DAY. '.Word was received at. Temuka yesterday that Zingari forfeited '.o Temuka, so there will be no match at Temuka to-day.

"'•-On Thursday afternoon a match was played between the Orari Bridge School and Rangitata School on the ground of the latter. The scores were Rangitata 59, Orari Bridge 4S. Rangitata owed its success to the batting-"of Allan Beattie, wh u .scored 18 runs in good style, Mr.l. Macdonald was in charge of the Orari Bridge team, and Mr W. M. Yates of the Rangitata boys. There was a larg e gathering of parents and friends of both teams. The ladies of Rangitata provided afternoon tea, which was much enjoyed by the- visitors. A return match between the schools will be played at an early date.
