Just what constitutes happiness, whether it is money or content with one's lot is the basis of "Poor Men's Wives," which will be screened at ■Temuka to-night. "Poor Men's Wives" is' an elaborately produced drama Of society and cabaret life. It 'has'a gripping' story of what consiitut.ee; married happiness. Two girl friends sought it in different ways. One married a Avealthy soeielv man and thought riches would compensate for love, the other married the man of her choice, a taxi drive r of limited means. The lives of these two couples are closely followed, with complications that entangle both. The drama is full of interest and suspense, and admirably played by Barbara La Marr, and a strong supporting caste. A Topical Budget and a funny comedy, "Casey Jones, Junr," complete a splendid programme. •
