ROBERTSON ORR CASE.
THE MINISTER'S APPEAL. WELLINGTON, May 9. When the Presbytery decided to reopen the Rev. S. Robertso u Orr's case, he appealed to the General Assembly against the decision, giving reasons. The committee appointed to defend the Presbytery's action submitted replies to these reasons, which were approved. They contended that the charges made against Mrs Evans, which wjcire found untrue in Court, and that the statement that, she was no longer a member of the St. Andrew's Church were incorrect and that the case had long ceased to br? a private quarrel, and Tv 'as now a public matter.
