TIMARU TECHNICAL COLLEGE v. TEMUKA D.H.S. A team from Timaru Technical College, accompanied by Mr Figgins, engineering master, journeyed to Temuka on Thursday In order to play a match with,the District High School. The visitors were met at the station by the; local boys' and presented with colours, and. then adjourned; to the .Farit; for the.game, resulting;in a win for Timarmby 20 runs. At- the end of the game refreshments were provided. Mr Malcolm, headmaster of Temuka School, warmly welcomed the Timaru team and congratulated them on their
play, and a very , pleasant time was spent till train , time. Mr Figglns replied, returning-thanks for the hospitality shown to his team, which was always a characteristic of Tenmka, and hoped that it would be possible to arrange - for an = Interchange of visits' for other games, such as basketball, and football.
