WEDDING.
STANDFIELD—CURTIS
At the residence of the bride, in Gordon Street, Dannevirke, Mrs Esther Mary Curtis was quietly married to Mr Charles Roland Standfield, of Glengarry, but formerly of Temuka, the Rev. Father Daly officiating. The bride, who was given away by her father, Mr G. Goldfinch, wore a becoming costume of mole gabardine, with hat of henna crinoline straw, trimmed with kingfisher blue and fruit. She was attended by her sister-in-law, Mrs A. A. Quigley, who wore black panne velvet with black [fox fur and pink hat, Mr D. D. Miller, of Glengarry, supporting the bridegroom as best man. After a reception, limited to intimate friends and# relatives, Mr and Mrs Standfield left by car for a, trip to Wanganui, the bride travelling in a nut brown braided costume with toque of nigger brown and gold. The future residence will be in Dannevirke.—"Dannevirke News."
