Collins (Geraldinc), with a handicap of IS yards in 23 l-ssec, B. P.rien (Usee) heing second. The mile was won by L. Coulter (Rangitata) from scratch in lmin 33 2-i, so.es. A. C. England (Orari) carried off the mile and one and a-half mile bicycle events and was third in■the two mile event. F. Sfjaldors ■(str.) won the two mile event and .was second in the one and a-half mile. G. Radbumd (Temuka) was: also a competitor, bnt met with an accident to his machine. In Urn -wrestling events (Cumberland and catch-as-catch-can), M. J. McCabo was placed first and J. Roddick ' second. Collins seems to have had bad luck in the Caledonian flat handicap, which fell to J. N. Walker (South Otago), after a good finish, in which a good many people fancied that the Geraldinc lad. L. At the Australasian championship meeting at Adelaide, the New Zealanders wore successful in severat events. In the pole vault, E. G.
