ABDT'NCTON, May 20. There wel'e. good entries of stock in all classes, /at, slurp and lambs being again in large supply. The fat cal lie included some line animals from North Canterbury. 'The demand was rather butter than at the previous-sale, but quotations were unchanged, beef making 25s to 28s (id. Vealcrs realised 8s to 80s. The entry of fat lambs was smaller than last week, and prices were slightly easier, realising equal to G.UI per
lb. The yarding of store sheep was much smaller, principally wethers, but -there was a belter tone in all elarses. ’1 his was- especially noticeable in tin,' case <>!’ lambs and best wethers, which sold at a slight advance. A full supply of fat pigs of average quality met a heller demand than at rrc -nt sales. Choppers and haconers realised 5d to s.fd ; best porkers were easier at (id.
