TEMUKA ROAD BOARD.

MONTHLY MEETfNG

I The monthly meeting- of the Temuka ! Road Board was held on Tuesday. , Present:—Messrs John Talbot, D. Grant, S. W. Armitagc, J. J: Eliis, and MeCullough. 1 CORRESPONDENCE. I From Christehurch Meal Company, stating thai they had communicated with the Canterbury A. and P. Association, regarding (lie shield, the ownership of which is now in dispute, the shield having been originally given to that Association. I A petition signed by sixty-live ratepayers between Rangitata and Urari rivers, asked the Board to apply loi a Government grant towards, (lie coat of a bridge over the Orari at Badham's crossing.—The Board decided to ask for a grant of , £ISOO and -to vwfuest Messrs Nosworthy and Craigio Ttl.P's to support the application.
