A team from the Rangilata Clul) visited 'Arundel to compete against a teajij from that veteran Club. They v.'ei'e very hospitably entertained, and a very pleasant evening- -was .spent. .Mr Win. Coulter, captain of the Jlangitata Club, in thanking the Arundel Club for its kindly reception of the visiting team, said that the Raugi- , Lata shooters could not bo accused of a 'want of modesty in challenging such expert riflemen as the Arundelitcs. Still, ho was proud to say his team had shown up . well, and he hoped they would do even bettor at. the return match. Mr .McCann complimented the 1 .ungitata Club on the excellence of its performance. They l%d done remarkable well for so voting’' a Club.
