Competition for fats was rather dull at commencement of sale, but livened u;j considerably when a specu. buyer started operations. Store -hep were hard to quit. Prices i as follows : Fat wethers, 14s 3d, 1-is sd, 16s to 10s 8d } Fat lambs, lis Us 3d, lis Gd, lis Hid, 12s, 12s Id, 12s Gd, 12s sd, lis 12s 4d, lis 9d, 13s 3d, Its to 13s Gd; Fat ewes, 8s Gd, Ss »d 9s, 9s Gd, 10s 2d, 10s 4d, 10s Gd, 10s Bd, to lis (id; Store lambs, forw a rd, 9s Sd to 10s 3d ;i backward and small, Is, 5s to Gs -kl ; full-mouth owes Ids to 12s 5d ; old ewes, '.in Gd, Jss Gd, Gs 3d, Gs 9d to 7s. Cattle—Only a small entry was offered, and these sold at full rates.
