CLEARING SALE.
Guinness and LrCren, Ltd., report holding a successful clearing sale at l"Stowo Farm," Hilton, on account Mr E. G. Temple, on Monday last. There 'was a fair attendance of buyers, and every lot was cleared at satisfactory prices. Following are a few of the principal sales :—195 fat lambs at 13s 2d, 23G do. at lis 4d, 120 forward ewes at 3s Sd, 50 3-shear -}-bred ewes at 13s, 110 2,4, 6 and S-tooth =}-brcd ewes at 12s 7d, 132 S.M. ?,-brcd owes at 10s sd. 172 rape lambs at 7s, -10 cull lambs at -Is, 14 EX. and BX. rams from 5s to 15s. Draught horses -Marcs. 7vrs CIS, Syrs C 2-1 10s, filly 3vrs, X3O 10s, gelding, syrs. £3O, half •drought mare, Svrs, XII I,os, harness gelding, Syrs, C2O, hunter "Scallywag" .-CIS. Cow in profit, £lO 5s Binder £l4, D.E. plough £7 ss, 5leaf harrows £4 7s Gd, drill £5 10s, discs £2 2s fid, farm dray £ll. Oats from 8s to 9s 6d per sack, oatshcaf chaff 2s 9d to 3s per sack. Sundries and furniture at full market rates.
