J lie icmuka senior team met Celtic 1. on Thursday last at Victoria Park. The Temuka team batted first, and only manaigicd to put up (JS rims, the bowling of Baton being very destructive, his average being S wickets for 22 runs. Carow was top scorer for Temuka with 14 runs, Cox 10 being the only other batsman to make -Si stand. Celtic made 219, the lop scorers being Owens 75 and T'aber 51. The match will be continued next Thursday. To-day Temuka play Winchester at Temuka, play commencing at 2 ./clock..
