ANGLICAN MISSION.
WANGANUI, Oct. IQ. Tln> Anglican Mission of Help, which hag been running most successfully due-' in the past week, was concluded this evening,’ 'when a thanksgiving service was held. The missioners were Canon Tapper Carey and Mr Joe. Harris. The congregations were very largo each day. fiOn Sunday night an overflow meeting filled a large room, a mlssioncr speaking in both buildings. WELLINGTON, Oct. 10. The Anglican Mission in Wellington was practically brought to a close yesterday with services in all tin; churches There were very large attendances •eating accommodation! everywhere be ng taxed to its utmost limit, special provision in this respect having to lie made, 'Phi* evening thanksgiving ser vices were conducted in the churches whore the. missioners have laboured foi the past ton days. To-morrow evening there will be a public meeting with the object of banding together Church of England workers ami communicant.-, of the"’city and suburbs. The meeting will he addressed by Canon Stuart.
