REVENUE RETURNS.
WELLINGTON, Oct. 3. Speaking at the Liberal and Labour Federation social to-night, tho Prime .Minister announced that the revenue returns for the six months ended September 30th, with the figures for the corresponding period of 1909 arc : Customs (P1I0) £1,127,103, . (UK)',!) £1,281,131 ; stamps, £721,799 —£<508,SO2 ; post and telegraph, £S7,'Sb3--CS(J,95ti ; and and income tax £28,0 IS - 391; railways, £ I *5(5 0,9K1—£1,459,517; registration and other fees, £35,13.5—£38,748 ; marine, £20,8.13—£20,838 ; miscellaneous, £136,095-—£133.-797; territorial, £1 Hi,255—£95,98(5 ; totals, £1,172,791-£3,7)18,238. Added to the returns for the previous six months the revenue for tho year ended September last was £9,515,675, ami for the like previous year £8,9(59,783. The net increase for tho half year is £371,55(5, and for the Anil year £5'75,892.
