GERALDINE CEMETERY BOARD.
$ — The monthly meeting of the Geraldine Cemetery Board w'as held on Tuesday night. Present—- I The ,M»y*or 1 (Mr E. 11. Elatm a n), aud Councillors < 11. Taylor, IV. A. Sborratt, J. Kennedy, and T. Sherratt. TJie clerk reported that the work of draining, etc., authorised to be done by the committee was nearly completed. The material from the drains was being carted to the hollow by the Council s horse and dray. The men who arranged to cut down trees had not started Work yet. .Receipts since last meeting were—'Kent of coteaga £2, use of truck 2/0, plots £1 7s (id, total id 10s. it was resolved to hold a special ineetingtl of the Board on the ITth Inst, to consider matters connected with the cemetery. Accounts amounting to £5 I?s were, passed for payment.
