ACCIDENT AT GERALDINE.
Mrs Angus Macdonaldl of WaiUti, Geraldine, had a narrow escape from a serious accident on Saturday evening, when dsiving home with her daughter. Mrs Wordsworth. In turning oil' the main road the horse took the- 1 corner too quickly,land Mrs'Macdonald was thrown out on_ to the roadway, the wheel of the gig pass-
ing over one of her arms. Mrs Macdonald received some severe il.iul, fortunately, no bones were broken, and, though suffering from shock, her medical attendant does not anticipate any serious consequences.
