At tho monthly meeting of the Pleasant Point Town Board a letter was received from the Saleyards C ompany complaining of water not getting away from the road near tho uuloyards as it should do. —The Works Committee was asked to soc to thisMr A. Adamson wrote asking for a crossing into his property. —Hold over pending the receipt of a map of the district. —blesses U. Friel, P. Rowe, and B. O’Rourke interviewed the Board in regard to a drain near their properties. —Held ovqr.—Tho chairman was authox-ised to got a light ladder for tho lamp-lighter.—it was decided that for Nelson’s Creek Bridge, r'tiilway irons bo used for piles, and that tenders be called, those to bo in bj next meeting. An offer from Mrs Geaney to let premises for an oflieont 7s j>dr week, was declined, it Vctixg aerreod that tho olhce now in use should ln> retained—For clearing, gorso on tho railway facing nine tenders, ranging from 2/3 to 5/3 per chain, were received, and it was decided to accept that of W. Lund at 2/3 Accounts amounting to T3O 14/2 were passed for payment.
