SOUTH CANTERBURY MORRIS TUBE ASSOCIATION.
MEETING ~AT^GERALDINE.
The annual meeting of delegates to the S.C. Morris Tube Association was held at the Gdra'lcliino Hotel on Tuesday evening. The secretary, Lieut. Gresham, presided over a 'good attendance, delegates from the following Clubs being present :—Geraldine, Woodbury, Winchester, and Arundel. An apology was received from Temuka delegates for their unavoidable absence. *
The balance-slidet, for 'the year showed a small debit balance.
The secretary repotted having written to the Defence stores for prieps of ammunition, but as the Short cartridge was the only kind available it was- decided to purchase a supply' of “Kynoch’.s Long” from local merchants The programme of teams and medal matches combined was arranged on similar linos ’to last season. The following dates were agreed upon ior matches—July 13 and 37 and August 10. The first match comes off at Winchester and Woodbury, the second at I'Cmuka and Arundel, and for the third) all teams competing fire at Geraldine.

The secretary imported having interviewed Mr Flatman, M.P., regarding a Government grant to Clubs not connected wit'li Volunteer Corps. Mr Flatman brought : the matter before the tl'.'nis'fcr fo,r ikrfcnec, -and if 'application is made and the necessary particulars Clubs would get assistance next season.
The annual 'dinner and presentation of medals will take place after the match at Geraldine on August HHh. The entrance feu for medal matches was fixed at 2/-, and every man firing in the final teams match to pay 1/-. Orthoptics will not be allowed in teams matches.
