TEMUKA TECHNICAL CLASSES .

The monthly meeting of the managers of the Temuka Teelmloal Association. was hold in the Association’s rooms last evening. Present—Messrs H. M. Miles (chairman), G. Thomson, E. Saunders, W. F. Evans, D. Melnncs, E, B. Cooper, M. McLeod, and Br Hayes, and the director, Mr McCaskill. The director reported that the annual 'donation of .€lO had been received from the Temuka Road Board, and on the motion of Br Hayes, seeonhed by Mr G. Thomson, a hearty vote of thanks was accorded to the Road Board for their practical support. Accounts amounting to €(i S/9 were passed for payment. Thu action of the chailrman and director in paying insurance on Association’s buildings was endorsed. The chairman and Mr Saunders reported having visited various classes under the Association's supervision, and all were doing excellent work, and the attendance was keeping up to expectations, more especially -in blacksmithing and wool-classing. Messrs Evans and McLeod were elect ed a Visiting Committee for the ensuing month. It wns resolved that a gas stove be procured for the cookery department us per -offer of Temuka Gas Company and also that shelving required for chemistry room bo erected. The meeting then terminated.
