'J'lie Can lerbury Fanners' Co-opcrn-tivc Association report on the horse market at Tatlersali s yards, Timaru, on Saturday, as follows : —The yarding comprised 31 horses, of ull soi'ls. The demand for young, active farm horses continues kwn, with an upward tendency in values. The supply at the sale was a good deal .short of the demand. Seed potatoes of Hie early varieties are in demand, and bring more money than table potatoes. The recent, wet weather has caused a better inquiry for Dcrwenls. HOME MABKETS. LONDON, July 20. The American visible supply of wheat is 35,300,000 bushels. The wheat markets are firmer owing lo bad weather in South-em Eussia, but there is lit lie demand. Cargoes of South Australian off const are held for 31/3 to 31/(i. The same is asked for Victorian 'and New- South Wales' April May shipments. At the Bradford wool market there is more enquiry, aivd prices are slight ly against buyers, except for medium ei'ossbreds. Forlv-sixes are quoted at 19d.

The butler market is steady, prices are unchanged, and little business is doing- in colonial makes.
