SYDNEY, Jan. JO. At the cycling carnival the Wheel Race of the value of £l2O resulted as follows Gurley (MOyds) 1, McLean (110yds), 2, O’Brien (130yds) 3. Time, Imin 50 4-ssec. Major Taylor gave a splendid exhibition of sprinting in the Centennial Nile which ho annexed in Imin 54soc. Morgan won tho Morgan Plate, boating Don Walter a.ter a fine finish. Time, Mmin llsec.
