TEKAPO RACES. The Tekapo races were held on Thursday last. The weather was I favorable, attendance good, and sport excellent. The following are the results ; Hurdle Race ; l-£ miles—Mr S. Tekapo Trot ; miles—Mr E, Doyle’s Miss Freestone (Owner) 1, Mr R. Connar’s Snow Storm (Owner) 2. Tekapo Cup—Mr W. Black’s Noxious Weed (M. Kerr) 1, Mr Tate’s Troubadour (W. Burgess) 2, Mr S. Andrews’ Permilion (B. Orton) 3. Tengawai also started. Novel Race—Mr J. S. Rutherford’s Lady Seaforth (J. Rutherford) 1, Mr Rutherford’s Stewardess 2, Mr W. Burgess’ Shoe Bar (Owner) 3. Mackenzie Handicap—Messrs Fcrr and Frayne’s Miss Challenger (M. Kerr) l, Mr W. Black's Kcxious Weed (Owner) 2. Lady Seaforth also started. Consolation—Mr H. Lorgclly’s Sunrose (W. Burgess) 1, Mr C.
