Metropolitan Meeting A large crowd is present, though not so numerous as on the first day. Won easily by three lengths; four lengths between second and third. Time, 3min 22sec. Also started Bonnie Ohiel, Ibex, Rook Gun aud Maulock. Betting—9 to 4 against hiautvillera. Ibex led to the turn into the straight with Hautvillers handy. Here Grasspan came on the scene and after a good race Hautvillers won by half a length. Time, 2min 37sec Melbourne Stakes—Wakeful 1, San Fran 2. Coburg Stakes.—Caledonia 1, Beauba 2.
