In the senior football matches to-dsy, Kaiapoi beat Albion by 11 to 6; Lin wood beat Sydenham by 27 to nil; the Morivale and Christchurch match was postponed till the end of the season owing to Christchurch being engaged in a Dnn.-din match. The championship points now stand:— Merivale 5, Christchurch 4, Linwood 3, Kaiapoi 3, Albion 2, Sydenham 0. The following is the Waihi team picked to play against Tomuka at Winchester on Thursday next ;—S. Douuithorne, A. Moore, Opio (2), S. Palmer, B. Ans in, W. Soo-t, >' onth (2), Shall»rd (2), Tomlinson, G. Austin, Farrell, A. Hart. Emergencies—Back, Livingstone ; forward, R. Hart, R. Webster. The above are requested to be on the ground at 2 30 p.m. The following will represent Geraldine Second in their match with ths Star (Timaru) on Thursday, at, Geraldine; J. Burke,R. Connell, t>. Friel, M.Geaney, J. Ear), J. Lysaght, »v. fronting, D. Joe, J. Riordan, C. Grieve, W. Hughes, L. Bright, A, White, R. Green, A. Quinn.
