Wesleyan Church Conference.
Wellington, March 6. The second draft of stations was adopted. Tho alterations to the first draft do not affect South Canterbury. It was announced that the Triennial General Conference will be held in Brisbane on May 17th. The Kev. Dr Morloy was re-appointed general secretary. Votes of thanks were passed to Mr A. C. Caughey fora parsonage site at Mount Albert, and to Mr H. Smith for land at Oamaru. Some time was devoted to the consideration of a number of recommendations to the Triennial General Conference with reference to some proposed alterations in the laws aud regulations of the Church, the majority of which were adopted.
For the General Conference to meet in Hrisbaue in May next, the following are ax -ollicio members, Rev. C. 11. Garland and F. L. Brine. President, Rev. D. J. Murray, secretary, Rev. W. Lee, and Mr Wm. Harris, treasurer of the children’s fund. The following were also elected by ballot; —Dr Morley, Rev. Messrs H. Bull, P. W. Fairolough, J. S. Smalley, N. R. Dewsbury. J. J. Lewis, W. Baumbor, Geo Bond, J, Orchid, and J. H. Simmonds; also Messrs Blackwell Rosenear, Caughey, Thomas, Allen, G. J. Smith. Harding, Prudhoe, Corkill, Benbow, T. Buddie, J. Manchester.
