Wellington, Ocfc. 21. | The schedule of business transacted during the session shows that 25 Select Committees were set up; that 107 Bills received the Royal assent, and that three were reserved for the signification of Her Majesty’s pleasure, and 107 dropped or otherwise disposed of; that 670 petitions were presented ; that 850 questions were asked of Ministers; that 291 papers were laid upon the table ; that 511 reports were received from Select Committees; and that the House sat on 75 days, the average length of the daily sitting being 9 hours 4 minutes.
