Loubotthat there was no evidence of Captain Dreyfus’ guilt, but the strongest presumption of his innocence. The French national papers were furious at General Nogriur’s disgrace, and declared that M. Gallifet was beheading the army. The Radical and Socialist organs commend his firmness. The now French battleship Suffren, the largest battleship yet constructed, has been successfully launched. The vessel was only 190 days on the stocks. Her displacement is 12,(151 tons ; she is of 15,500 horsepower, and her speed is 18 knots.
