AUSTRALIANS v. SURREY. London, July 25. The weather was fine and tho wicket improving. There was a good attendance. Tho Australians’ first innings closed for 105. In the second innings Surrey made 350, of which Hayes contributed 131, Abel 50, and Knox 42. The Australians, requiring 297 to win, began their second innings, and had scored two runs without the loss of a wicket at the end of the day’s play. July 20. There was beautiful weather, a good wicket, and a large attendance. One no-ball was‘ overlooked in Surrey’s score, which should be 351. The second innings of tho Australians closed for 194, and Surrey won by 104 runs. Iredale did not bat, being indisposed.
