GOOD TEMPLARY.

The weekly meeting of tho Star of Orari Lodge was held on Monday evening, Bro. R. Henderson, C.T., presiding. After the routine of business the quarterly reports were read and adopted. Bro. Dalton, D. L>., assisted by Sister W. May and Bro. Gimsou, Marshal and Deputy Marshal, then installed the following officers: — Bro. Sam Wood, 0.T.; Sister Garrard, V.T.; Sister Edith Bates, SJ.T.; Sister L. Bates, Sec.; Sister K. Harris, F.S.; Bro. Coles, T.; Sister J. May, C.; Bro. R Henderson, P.0.T.; Sister Wilks, M. ; Sis. Austin, D.M.; Bro. Yarcoe, G.; Bro. Garrard, S.; Sister Bracefield, organiste. Bto. Stewart was re-elected to the office of L.D. Several committees were appointed for the quarter, and the meeting was closed in the usual style by Bro. S. Wood, C.T. I

The weekly meeting of the Good Hope Lodge. No. 42, Temuka, was held on Tuesday evening, there being a very fair attendance of members. Bro. Philp read communications he had received from the Grand Seorotary. The installation of officers was then proceeded with, the officers for the ensuing quarter being : C.T., Bro. Barr; Sec, Sister Mcßratney; V.T., Sister Greaves; S.J.T., Sister f Cruickshanks; F.S., Sister Cruickshanks; T., Sister King; C, Sister Griffiths; M., B/o. Lloyd; P.C.T., Bro. Preddy; G., Sister Mehrtens; S. Bro. Gunnion. The officers were installed by Bro. Philp, assisted by Bros. Levens and Cripps as installing officers. Bro. Lovens was recommended as District Deputy, and there being no other business the Lodge was closed in the usual form by Bro. Barr.
