Meeting. Tho attendance was fairly good. The course was heavy. Tho results were as follows : August Handicap, of 115 nova; second horse, 10 sovs; f mile.—Beadonwell, 1; Marino, 2 ; Lord of Misrule, 3. Beadonwoll led all the way to the straight. A struggle between him and Marino ended in tne latter's defeat by a head. This race was run in a blinding hailstorm. Time, lmiu 21£sec. Dividends, £ls 18s and £l4 9a. Hunt Club Cui», of GO sovs; second horse, 10 sovs ; 1\ miles.—The Bug, 1 ; Victor, 2; Pastime, 3. Grand National Hurdles, of 300 sovs; second horse, 40 sovs ; third horse, 20 sovs ; about 2 miles. Donald McKiuuou, lOst 31b, 1 ; Barnardo, list 101 b, 2; Couranto, 12st 31b, 3. Won easily. Pahua was scratched. Time, 4uiin 43sec. Dividend, £7 Gs and £7 4s.
