These teams met on Thursday afternoon on tho 'ii uaru A.A.C. ground, the weather being perfect, aud the wicket the same. Jefferson won the toss, and elected to bat. The wickets fell rapidly until the score sheet showed G for 19, King and Hassell then made a stand, the former player playing the best game on his side. Low and Yelvin had both been bowling well, but a change was now made, McLean getting a wicket with his first bull, and Wills one in his second over. The innings closed for 52.
