DEATH OF M. FERRY.
Paris, March 18. M. Jules Ferry is dead. His death was the indirect remit of the attempt made to assassinate him iu 3887, when he was wounded by a shot fired by a lunatic named Aubertiu. He will be accorded a State .'iinural on Wednesday. M. Constans will probably succeed M. Ferry as President of tho Senate. The Parisian press says that the late M. Ferry was one of the greatest figures and the best friend of the Republic.
