THE EMPORER AND EMPRESS OF GERMANY IN ENGLAND.

London July 4. The Emperor and Empress of Germany were accorded an enthusiastic welcome on their arrival in England. They were met at Port Victoria, Kent, by the Prince of Wales, the Duke of Edinburgh, and the Duke of Connaught who accompanied them to Windsor Castle. The Emporer and Empress will attend the wedding of Princess Louise of Schelwisg Holstein with Prince Aubert, of Anhalt, on Monday, and they will be enterained at a State banquet in St George’s Hall on Tuesday. On Wednesday the Royal party will visit Buckingham Palace, and attend an opera at which Madame Melba will sing. There will be a garden party by the Queen at Marlborough House on Thursday in honour of their visit, and in the evening a State concert will be given in the Albert Hall. On Friday there will be a semi-State procession, with lunch at Guildhall, and a State ball at Buckinham Palace. On Saturday the Crystal Palace will be visited, and Sunday will be spent quietly at Hatfield House.
