London, Oct. 6. Tallow—Mutton, 26s 6d; beef, 255. The English wheat market has a downward tendency. Continental is steady, and American is improving. New Zealand wheat on passage, 365, New Zealand patent flour, ex store, 24s 3d, Colonial oats, common quality, command an average price of 22s 3d. The quantity of wool catalogued up to date is 195,400 bales, of which 185,800 have been disposed of. _ The sales are proceeding with a diminished attendance, biddings are less eager, and prices have a drooping tendency. The decline is chiefly in inferior and faulty marines. Oct. 7. Good merino erosebreds are steady. Other sorts are irregular. Silver has undergone a further fall oHd. . .;
