A sew and very chrrming use of the phonograph baa been thought of in connection with the forthcoming Stanley marriage (says a Home paper of July 11th). Colouel Grouraud has presented to Mr Stanley a phonograph as a wedding present. There are only four phonographs in England. Three will be in Westminster Abbey during the wedding service. Qne will be placed Iq the Tower, to recprd the full sound., of ..the.. ; wedding bells. The second phonograph will be placed by the organ to note the music and the Wedding March; The third will be placed in the choir, and give the hjmn. as sung by the voices. These records will be presented by Colonel G-ouraud to Mr and Mrs Stanley, so that at any time hereafter the wedding bells, the organ, and the voices will sound as on the 12th July, 1890.
