M undell and Co. report sales for tlie week ended August I6th, 1890, as follows : > The past week has seen the new public salevards at Tetnuka opened for the disposal of stock, an event which will not be easily forgotten by all interested in this undertaking, viz., the establishing of a live stock market in this the most important portion of South Canterbury.
