Sydney, Dec. 4, Reports received from Hong-Kong slate that the typhoon season has been unusually severe. Many wrecks are recorded and numerous lives lost. In the Wancbou district disastrous floods have occurred, and several villages washed away, several thousands of persons being drowned.
