~ ! London/ July 10. | Before the Tiraes-Parnoll Commission' to-day, Mr John O’Conno'j -MiP, fdr Tipperary, was examined. He admitted having met James McDermottj tb{e American Fenian, who talked to him a good deal about the use of dynamite. He also stated that Devoy, one of the leaders of The Irish revolutionary parly, tried to detach him (O’Connor) from the constitutional pnrtyl Mr John O’Connor, M.P. for Tipperary, in the course* of his evidence! before the Commission, admitted having! been a Fenian until 1880, but refused' to disclose any thing about that eocietjL He also admitted that he was cognisant of a conspiracy being arranged to murder Judge Barril, Witness himself bad been charged with participating in i(.' He justified the endeavor to corrupt title police, and said that he considered th> police were capable of banging innocenft persons, whereupon the President, Sir j James Hannen, exclaimed “ It is morM- 1 torlnre to listen to this man.”
