WOODBURY SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
The monthly meeting of the above Committee was Ix-ld on Monday latt. Present—Messrs Dean (chairman), Giok, tl eat ley. Cooling, Comack, , and McKenzie. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The following tenders were opened and dealt with for six cords n{ firewood Thomas Taylor, £4; Joseph Webb, £3 18s. It was resolved on the motion of Mr Bealley, seconded by Mr Cooling—“ That the tender of Mr Webb be accepted, and that the firewood be delivered witlu»l|possible despatch.” 'y On the motion of Mr Cooling, seconded by McKenzie, it was resolved—“ That th® Chairman write for the Jubilee Testaments, or make same special arrangements for the procuring of the same.” Resolved—“ That soma one be engaged to cut up the wood on hand in suitable lengths, the same having been on band for a number of years." Messrs Dean and Gick consented to act as Visitors for the ensuing month. This being oil the business the mating terminated.
