IRISH AFFAIRS.
London, Nov. 6. The Governor of the gaol has been directed to compel O'Brien to wear prison uniform. Mr Dillon, speaking at Castlereagh, urges the tenants to double tbeir exactions from the landlords as revenge for the imprisonment of O'Brien. Nov. 7. In consequence of O'Brien persisting in his refusal to wear prison clothing, he has been examined by the medical officer in attendance on the prison, and the latter has certified that it would be dangerous to the health of the prisoner to forcibly compell him to do so. Mr O'Brien and his iccretary, Mr Mandeville, have been placed on bread and water diet for contumacy.
