THE BUKULLA MURDER.

The trial of Wadham Wyndham, of Bukulla, near lnverell, for the murder of his wife and three children, wis concluded at Arraidalo to-day. It will be remembered that Wyndham, the proprietor of the Bukulla estate, murdered his wife and three children under most revolting whilst in a fit of religious mania. The prisoner, who appeared greatly dejected, has greatly altered in appearance sines the crime. He Acknowledged having taken tho lives of his dear wife and children, net with a felooious intent or any murderous feelings, but in a spiritof sacrifioa. This was construsd as a plea of not guilty, and the evidence given at the inquest was again taken. The Judge summed up by saying that it was evident that Wyndham was laboring under a strong delusion when he killed his wife and children. The jury returned a verdict of " Not guilty, on the ground of insanity, and the prisoner was ordered to be detained during the Governor's pleasure. The evidence of the prison officials showed that while in Arundale Gaol awaiting trial Wyndhsm behaved in n quiet, gentlemanly manner, being to all eppearance perfectly sane.
