GEItALDINE COUNTY COUNCIL. i'N accordance with the provisions of X " The Rating Act, 1882," and other Acts amending the same, the Geraldine County Council hereby give Public Notice that the next ordinary meeting, to be held on WEDNESDAY, June Btb, 1887, it is the intention of the Council to make a GENERAL RATE of ONE FARTHING (|d) IN THE £ (POUND) on the rateable value of all the property as Bhown in the Valution Rolls now in force in tin, Ik i ,ildine County. Such rate being for the period ending 31st March, 1888, and to be payable in one sum on the lßt day of July, 1887, at the office of the Geraldine County Council, Timaru. The Rate Books are now open for inspection by ratepayers (without fee) at the County Council Office, Colonial Bank BuildiDgs, Timaru, from May 18th to June Ist inclusive, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily.
