THE IMPERIAL CONFERENCE.

Loudon, April 25. At to-day’s meeting of the Imperial Conference the discussion on the defence question wee resumed. Several of the colonial delegates read telegrams * from their respective Governments accepting the Imperial defence proposals, subject to the approval of the colonial Legislatures. Sir Henry Holland congratulated the colonies on their complete unanimity on the defence question, which of itself would be sufficient to 1 prevent the failure of the conference. April 26. The colonial delegates to the Imperial Conference were presented to the Prince of Wales at yesterday’s levee.
