THE EASTERN CRISIS.
London, Jan. 3, M. Blowitz, the Paris special correspondent of the Times, writing to his paper with reference to the alliance between Germany and Russia, states positively that Germany is engaged not to intervene in the event of an AustroRussian conflict, and Russia is similarly engaged not to take part in any FrancoGerman conflict. In consequence of the alliance, M. Blowitz writes that it is expected Bulgaria will have to submit to Russian administration.
Sofia, Jan. 3. The Russian Government still insists on the resignation of the Regents, and that a temporary Government shall be formed (composed of members of all parties), the formation of a legallyelected tfobranje, and the acceptance of Prince Nicholas of Mingrelia as ruler of Bulgaria, The return of Prince Alexander will lead to the immediate occupation of Bulgaria by Russia.
